Our expert history guide will give you an introduction to the History of the Colosseum along with anecdotes and cultural insights. You will discover the legends of the Gladiators while picturing to be an excited spectator or an Emperor and watching wild beasts or slave-turned heroes fighting, deciding whether or not your winning bet had to “finalize” the defeat rival or let him die, just upon your thumb command.. up or down for life or death.

Wander through the Roman Forum

Follow your guide on a short walk to Trajan’s Column, just five minutes away from the Colosseum. As you walk toward the entrance of the Roman Forum, your guide will provide a brief overview of the Imperial Fora, offering historical context before beginning the main visit.
