Carbonara and pesto never taste better than when they’re freshly made in Italy. So why not try doing that yourself with this pasta cooking class? It’s led by professional local chefs so you know you’re learning from the best. And you’ll get a memento to take home with you too!

Get to know Italy’s most famous dish

Pasta is synonymous with Italy and this immersive class will throw you right in at the deep end. You’ll get to know the journey of the wheat and egg used to make fresh pasta from farm to table, using ingredients made in an environmentally sustainable way. A professional local chef will help you to make pasta from scratch - it could be anything from tagliatelle to spaghetti to ravioli. You’ll also get to prepare two seasonal sauces such as carbonara, pesto or pomarola - yummy!

Prepare a special Italian dessert

It’s not just pasta you’re making at this fun Italian cooking class. No meal is complete without a dessert and the list of iconic Italian puddings seems neverending - from tiramisu to panna cotta. But they can wait until another day because this class is also about gelato. Once again made with local and seasonal ingredients, you’ll get a demonstration from the chef, the natural colours are used to create your favourite flavours, while you’ll also learn about the heating and freezing techniques.

Impress your friends when you return home!

End the class by enjoying the delicious meal you’ve prepared, accompanied by two glasses of wine - or soft drinks for children. This Italian cooking class is a fantastic memory to make during your holiday, but it doesn’t have to end there. You’ll be given a digital booklet with the recipes you’ve learned and a graduation certificate. So, why not impress your friends when you get home now that you’re a real Italian apprentice chef?!
