Description

Day 1 – Pizza and gelato cooking class in Rome

Begin your Roman holiday with a delicious hands-on introduction to Italian cuisine. In the early evening, make your way independently to the cooking school, where a local chef will welcome you for a hands-on pizza and gelato class.. You’ll learn the art of crafting authentic Roman-style pizza—from preparing the dough to selecting the freshest toppings—and master the smooth textures and balanced flavors of traditional Italian gelato. Afterward, enjoy your creations alongside a glass of wine or soft drinks. You’ll leave not only satisfied but also with a digital recipe booklet to bring the taste of Italy home with you.

Day 2 – Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel guided tour

After breakfast, reach the designated meeting point near the Vatican on your own to join a guided group tour with skip-the-line access. Visit the Vatican Museums’ most famous galleries, including the Gallery of Maps and the Raphael Rooms. Marvel at the frescoed ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s timeless masterpiece. Your guide will conclude with an explanation of St. Peter’s Basilica, which you can then visit independently, allowing you to explore the spiritual heart of the Vatican at your own pace.

Day 3 – Full-Day Pompeii Excursion

Today’s adventure takes you south to one of Italy’s most extraordinary archaeological sites. After reaching Rome's Train Station on your own, board a pre-booked high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you directly to Pompeii, where you’ll meet a licensed archaeologist for an expert-guided tour of the ruins. There, you’ll meet a licensed archaeologist who will guide you through the ancient streets, homes, and public buildings of the city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Witness perfectly preserved frescoes, mosaics, and the haunting plaster casts that capture Pompeii’s final moments. After the tour, enjoy a smooth return journey back to Rome.

This is a semi-escorted tour, meaning that certified local guides will accompany you only during scheduled activities. Participants are responsible for making their own way between the hotel and activity meeting points. Full-day excursions include transportation where specified.

Colosseum tour:

Please let us know in advance any special need or impaired mobility of the clients and we will do our best to accomodate them.
Shorts, big bags and liquid bottles will not be allowed inside the museums.

There is always a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the Coliseum.
Participants must have and ID card or a valid passport.
Please note that the departure time of this tour is subjected to change, awaiting further information from the Colosseum management.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding regarding any adjustments that may arise.This tour is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs, or with impaired mobility.

Please note that the itinerary inside the Vatican Museums may vary, depending on restrictions decided by the museum board. Due to exceptional religious events, St. Peter's Basilica might be closed without any notice.

Entry to the Vatican Museums is based on strictly timed tickets. For this reason, late arrivals cannot be guaranteed access.

All visitors must have a photo ID for the security check.

The Vatican Museums imposes a mandatory dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered, otherwise you will not be able to enter.

St. Peter's Basilica won't be available for visits on Wednesday, the tour will include Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel only.

Pompeii tour:
We regret to inform that this tour is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs and/or with impaired mobility and/or heart patients.
We strongly suggest good walking shoes (no flip-flops!) as well as hat and sunscreen.
Even with the skip-the-line entrance, there is still a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the archeological site.
A dress code is required to enter the Pompeii Archological Park. No discorteous clothing or shirtless is allowed. Your entry will be refused if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
No backpack, big bags (max 30X30X15) and intrusive objects are allowed and must be deposit in the clockroom.
Beware of the possible presence of stray dogs that have crossed the perimeter defences of the Archaeological Park. It is recommended to keep a distance and pay attention.
Participants must have and ID card or a valid passport.

Please note that it is not allowed:
- introduce professional optical and audio equipment (cameras, microphones, audio mixers, etc.).
- introduce unauthorised means of transportation, even electric one, bicycles, scooters and any other means of transportation.
