Cinque Terre in one day from Florence

How far is Cinque Terre from Florence? Just 186km, or two and a half hours in one of our comfortable air conditioned minivan. Leaving early morning from Tuscany, your knowledgeable guide will be taking you to admire the best sights of Cinque Terre. Our comprehensive exploration will include the visit of some of the most beautiful villages and landscapes of Cinque Terre National Park, a world-heritage protected by UNESCO since 1997, ( which are Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso and we will visit some of them), the villages clinging to a remote stretch of the Riviera coastline. Tickets to the park are included, though sadly the Via dell’Amore is temporarily closed due to a mudslide, meaning you’ll take the minivan or train between the five villages rather than walking.

Enjoy free time to swim or taste local delicacies

You’ll have ample free time to explore the flavors of Cinque Terre at your own pace. Take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters or sample regional specialties from nearby eateries, from fresh Ligurian seafood to delicious local treats like focaccia and pesto. Whether you want to indulge in the local cuisine or relax by the water, this break is designed for you to enjoy the essence of Cinque Terre.

Visit Cinque Terre from a different perspective

While the villages are incredible to behold from land, you’ll be able to view some of them from the Ligurian Sea on a boat trip, should the weather and sea conditions allow it (if not, transfers will be by minivan or train). And even if they don’t, you’ll be able to go for a very light hike in the hills, where you can admire panoramas of the coast and the villages from above. Oh, and did we mention that those Cinque Terre hills are actually vineyards? You’ll learn more about the wine production of the region in a feast for the senses before returning to Florence, after this  unforgettable tour of Cinque Terre from Florence in one day.
