Dive into the rich culture, flavors, and landscapes of Western Sicily on a 4-day journey that includes guided experiences, a hands-on cooking class, and comfortable accommodation in the heart of Palermo. Perfect for curious travelers who want to discover Sicily’s authentic soul, this all-in-one tour takes care of every detail—so you can simply enjoy the magic.

Day 1 – Explore the treasures of the Norman Palace

Your Sicilian adventure begins in Palermo with a guided afternoon tour of the Norman Palace, one of the most majestic historical sites in all of Sicily. Within its walls lies the Palatine Chapel, a gem of Arab-Norman-Byzantine architecture, where golden mosaics shimmer with centuries of history. As your guide leads you through royal halls and hidden corners, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the cultural fusion that defines Sicily’s unique identity.
The remainder of your evening is yours to enjoy—whether you opt for a quiet dinner or a sunset stroll through Palermo’s vibrant streets.
Overnight stay included at a 4-star hotel in the city center of Palermo.

Day 2 – Palermo walking tour & cooking class

Start your day with a guided walking tour through the streets of Palermo’s historic center. Discover landmarks like the Palermo Cathedral, Teatro Massimo, and the iconic local markets where life buzzes with color, flavor, and rhythm. Your guide will paint a vivid picture of the city's evolution—from ancient conquests to modern life—through its streets, stories, and food.
In the evening, shift from sightseeing to hands-on fun with a Sicilian pizza and gelato cooking class. Hosted by a local chef, the experience walks you through traditional recipes and local ingredients, all culminating in a delicious dinner you’ll prepare yourself.
Afterward, relax in your centrally located hotel for another night in the heart of Palermo.

Day 3 – Discover the Magic of Erice and Marsala

Today you’ll leave the city for a full-day guided excursion into Western Sicily’s countryside and coast. First, visit Erice, a hilltop village with sweeping views and winding medieval streets. Admire stone churches, artisan shops, and ancient castles that offer a glimpse into Sicily’s rich past.
Next, head to the coastal town of Marsala, famed for its wine and gentle pace. Explore the charming streets or opt for a wine tasting to discover why this town’s name echoes across the globe. This journey will show you a different, more tranquil side of Sicily that balances nature, tradition, and beauty.
Return to Palermo in the evening for a restful night in your 4-star accommodation.

Day 4 – Time to slow down and say goodbye

Your final day is all yours to enjoy. Spend your morning shopping for local goods, indulging in a Sicilian breakfast, or relaxing in a sunny piazza with one last espresso. Whether you choose to explore more or take it easy, this is your moment to absorb the atmosphere of Palermo at your own pace.
After check-out, your Western Sicily multiday tour concludes—leaving you with unforgettable memories and perhaps a few extra bottles of Marsala wine.
