Want to see Florence by bike and the David Statue? This is the tour for you! Enjoy an hour in the Accademia Gallery before a fun and relaxing bike ride that will show you all of the major attractions!

Start off the day with a visit to one of the world’s most renowned art galleries

Begin the day by meeting your friendly and knowledgeable guide in the city’s historic centre. You’ll take a short walk through Piazza del Duomo to see the cathedral, Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower before making your first stop: The Accademia Gallery. How long is a visit to the Accademia Gallery? With a guide, 1 hour is enough, especially with skip-the-line tickets. In that time, you’ll see Michelangelo’s incredible statue of David, his unfinished works Prigioni and San Matteo and masterpieces by Botticelli, Paolo Uccello and Andrea del Sarto.

Then… time for a bike ride!

Florence by bike is one of the best ways to see the city. This tour will take you less time than walking tours, and you’ll also get off the beaten tourist track! You’ll go where the buses don’t fit, through pedestrian areas and through tiny little streets. As well as the historic centre, you’ll cycle through the Oltrarno District and find lots of spots from where to admire the city.

See all of Florence’s best-known attractions by bike

This Florence bike tour leaves no attraction off the list. You’ll see the Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Strozzi, the Duomo, Santa Maria Novella, the artisans’ district, Palazzo Vitti, the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Square, the Piazza della Signoria, Santa Croce and more. At several, you’ll stop and get an explanation of the history and some fun facts from your guide. If all that’s not enough, you’ll also stop for a tasty gelato, which is included in the cost of the tour!

Rain policy

The tour will never be cancelled due to rain.

Concerning specifically the bike tour, we will do our best to proceed with the bike tour, however, in case of heavy rain, we might decide to stop the bike tour and proceed with a walking tour instead (or just start with a walking tour if the weather does not allow to use the bikes at the time of the meeting point). Should the weather get better during the tour, we will try to get back on board, when possible.

Guest options on rainy days:

1) Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if bikes are not ridden due to rain, or if the bike tour is abbreviated due to rain. We will do our best to get you on a bike, weather permitting.

2) Rain check (of the same amount clients paid) to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date. It has a value that can be possible used in any other tour provided by our company.

Please note that clients' safety and comfort are of utmost priority, and proper rain gear is mandatory for guests choosing to "ride in the possible rain".
We ask clients to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour departure, to check the weather conditions and choose accordingly.
No-shows will not be refunded.
